OUR MISSION

Committed to the success of its clients, 3D Plastics offers personalized customer service, superior quality, and complete project management. We have the capabilities to source design and construct molds, using local or overseas mold makers, to create the best match, both economically and efficiently, for our customers.

We are a company built on family values and we are largely patterned after our father's company who we grew up working for. Like our father, we believe in mutual respect, honor and loyalty and use these principles in our daily work habits. We want to see our customers succeed, if they do then we do. We have great people who want to do our best for our customers and our suppliers. Like we say, our performance is our report card.

As a custom injection molder, every job is unique. We manufacture parts for a variety of disciplines including electrical, medical, consumer, and dental. We presently manufacture parts that weigh less than a gram and hold tolerances of +/- .0005”.

What we love to do

Overmolding is a cost effective and often more efficient way of adding a sub-component into a molded part. 3D Plastics presently produces many of our customers' products with metal and plastic sub-components molded in. It is very common to use threaded inserts, bushings, contacts, and plastic substrates. Many inserts typically range from stainless steel to brass to anodized aluminum. More often an overmolding application will have a softer plastic material molded over a rigid plastic material, giving the final product a soft feel and yet a strong rigid base.

We mold a broad array of engineering materials such as elastomers, and structural foam, as well as a vast array of different colors. We commonly mold foam-filled, glass-filled, and stainless steel-filled materials that are required by a customer. We can assist you with finding a suitable material that best fits your need.

We can help get you functional prototypes to test and fit the feasibility of your product. Using our 3D printer, you will get a prototype that mimics the structural design of your file without having to worry about deformed shapes, geometry, or unaesthetic appeal.

What is ISO?

ISO 9001:2015 is a quality management system standard that presents guidelines intended to increase business efficiency and customer satisfaction.

How do you implement an ISO 9001:2015 certification?

Implementation starts within the company. Implementing ISO 9001:2015 is the gathering of all your company’s processes and documenting them. Do what you say and say what you do. Then audit those processes for repeatability and effectiveness.

What does ISO mean to you?

With ISO 9001:2015, each company that participates in the process of manufacturing and/or developing a product knows that ISO is part of an internationally known, reliable system. And because the customer is most important to a company, ISO 9001:2015 makes the customer its focus.
