Silicone Injection Molding
Liquid Injection Molding also known as LIM or LSR is a unique process of injecting a two component curable silicone elastomer into heated tooling. This process results in rapidly cured parts that can be run with fast cycle times producing a broad array of molded silicone parts.
Unique characteristics of liquid injection molded silicone are:
Silicones are used in a broad array of industries such as automotive, health care, industrial and consumer goods to name just a few.
Common applications are gaskets, seals, O rings, diaphragms, surgical devices, high voltage insulators, keypads, shoe inserts and kitchen utensils.
